Ward 5B is the designated CF ward where we have 8 state of the art single ensuite rooms for patients requiring admission for investigations/treatment. Whilst an inpatient, patients will be cared for by the ward staff of 5B, the medical team and the CF team all working together. Patients are reviewed daily by the medical team, the CF nurse specialists, CF physiotherapists and CF dietician. Patients will be reviewed by the consultant during their admission but not on a daily basis but as is required dependent on the patients condition.
